REAL-TIME BITCOIN PRICE SOURCES

The live dashboard ticker streams from two exchanges at once: Binance trade ticks and the Coinbase BTC-USD ticker, both over WebSocket with zero polling interval. Whichever stream is reachable drives the price. That matters because Binance blocks most US visitors, and corporate networks or aggressive ad blockers can block either one. If neither stream connects, the ticker polls the TerminalFeed API every ten seconds. The ticker on this page reads that same API every three seconds, and the label above it shows which upstream answered.

This layered setup means TerminalFeed's Bitcoin ticker keeps working when single source tickers go stale. You can also pull the latest price directly from the public API at /api/btc-price, which returns JSON with CORS enabled and no authentication required.
